Ribble Cottage is a luxury retreat adjoining Hodder Cottage that sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms.

Inside, the warm and welcoming open plan layout is furnished with modern comforts including zone-controlled underfloor heating.

A modern kitchen houses plentiful appliances, including a washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Keen cooks can take advantage of Ribble Cottage's fully equipped kitchen with an extendable dining table that comfortably seats six. Our open plan lounge area is the perfect place for relaxation with modern furnishings and underfloor heating.

All cottages have WIFI, a flat screen Freeview TV, DVD Player and Amazon Firestick so plenty to keep the entire family entertained.

Ribble Cottage is rated as 5* Self Catering Accommodation by Visit England.

Ribble Cottage has two bedrooms each with their own en-suites.

One with a half bath and overhead shower and the other with a double walk-in shower.

We provide bath robes, towels and hand towels, there is plenty of storage and each bedroom has a Freeview TV/DVD.

Bedroom 1: 1 x Double Bed, Ensuite, Bath (Half Sized) with Overhead Shower

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single Beds, Ensuite, Double Walk-In Shower

Ribble Cottage is rated as 5* Self Catering Accommodation by Visit England.

Children of all ages are welcome. We offer high chairs, cots, changing mats, child bed rails and a selection of toys free of charge. For guests with accessibility or mobility needs we can supply grab rails and shower seats on request.

All of our cottages have off street parking and access to our Voltshare EV Charging Point.

There are outdoor furnishings, a parasol and a gas BBQ available in the garden room.

All of our cottages are No Smoking and in Ribble Cottage sadly we do not allow pets.

Is there parking?

Yes we have ample free and secure off street parking. If you plan to bring more than one vehicle it's always best to let us know so we can ensure there is enough space for you and other guests. Our main gates are automated with number plate recognition so don't forget to provide us with your number plate shortly before your stay.

If your car is electric, you can take advantage of our Voltshare EV Charging Point.

Are the cottages suitable for wheelchair users or for guests with mobility issues?

Hodder and Ribble Cottage are narrow wheelchair accessible with double bi-fold doors and double walk in showers. Our wardrobes and drawers are low enough for assisted seating and we can provide a shower seat and moveable grab rails upon request.

As there are no stairs to navigate and have an open plan design, both cottages are suitable for wheelchair users.

Can I check-in earlier or check-out later?

We are always keen to ensure the cottage is ready for your stay so we ask guests to check in no earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and to check out no later than 11am on the day of departure.

You are more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay later providing we don’t have anyone leaving or joining us either side of your booking. Feel free to check a few days before you arrive and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets of all kinds, brilliantly behaved or otherwise! As much as we would love to welcome your furry friends and family members across all of our cottages we reserve some pet free space for anyone with allergies or less keen.

Calder Cottage is dog friendly (maximum 2 x dogs) for an additional fee of £10 per dog per night.

Sadly we do not allow pets, even the cutest, in either Hodder or Ribble Cottage.
